TACITUS

Tacitus, the greatest Roman historian, who gave us "The Annals" which is an account of Roman History that runs several thousand pages in length........Tacitus officially recounts the person "Christus" who was condemned by the Roman Governor of Judea (Pontius Pilate) to suffer the "ultimate penalty" for perpetuating a "mischievous superstition" that he was the son of God.........it is thus officially recorded by Tacitus on a single page of "The Annals" that in Roman History there was indeed this person Christ as an historical fact.........Christ really existed 2000 years ago in Palestine near the Mediterranean Sea in Judea the Jewish Holy Land.........though it is a matter of faith to believers that after being crucified and dying on the cross Christ subsequently rose from death and appeared in the Holy Lands several times in the 50 day Easter season leading up to his ascension to Heaven and the birth and formation of the church on Pentecost Sunday.
