PLATONISM

Just as (1) the ubiquity of sunlight lead to the evolution of photosynthetic organisms and (2) later the ubiquity of an atmosphere lead to the evolution of wings and winged organisms (on several occasions) and (3) the ubiquity of water led to fins and finned organisms and (4) and again the ubiquity of light lead to the evolution of eyes (on several occasions)…..and so on.....Thus we have to admit that the evolution of the human mind with its access to mathematical truth and access to things cerebral.....must be due to the presence and ubiquity of a kind of mental air upon which the human mind evolved against towards its current state. Sunlight and water and air are admittedly physical things while mental air is not physical, except in the sense that "mental air" drove the evolution of the human brain.....Mental air is also known as "The Platonic World" or as "Platonism". Where Plato held that knowledge in its various forms exists "out there" in the Universe without any physical location and the human mind gets glimpses of these truths through millions of years of the evolution of the human mind against its presence. "The Platonic World" or "mental air" is what Judeo-Christians speak about as Heaven and Hell in their holy books and teachings. All things wonderful and horrible (and everywhere in between) have their archetypes in the various forms of "mental air". "Mental air" is where the collective human mind comes from and again on to which the collective human mind returns to in the course of time and the movements of the universe. In other words Heaven and Hell exist "out there" without any physical location but they influence creation somehow and we are connected to them through the course of the unfolding of our lives.
