PROPELLANES & PROPELLENES

[1.1.1]propellane & [2.2.2]propellane building blocks could be the basis for generating 2D carbon sheets or 1D polymers. If these propellanes are adapted in to propellenes, in which ethylenic pieces are extended along the propellane edges or vertices, they might be the basis for some 3D carbon patterns analogous to barrelene and the (6, 0)-hexagonite lattice...you might suggest this to someone who works on hypothetical networks...MJB
